Naichau Kamo Covers

January 22, 2009 - Leave a Response

Below are the covers for Morning Musume’s latest single.

The Limited Edition A comes with “Another Version” of the PV for the song while the Limited Edition B comes with the Close Up version. The Single V features the dance shot.

The limited edition covers are quite hideous, but I really like the normal cover and Single V. The blue tint is a simple but nice effect.

Naichau Kamo will be released on February 18th, the Single V on February 25th.

Naichau Kamo PV

The PV for Morning Musume’s latest single has been released.

Naichau Kamo

I like it! It matches the song pretty well and unlike their last two singles, it isn’t just a dance shot. I like the crying scenes the most, some of the girls look very convincing. I like the outfits they are dancing in and both sets also look really good. The song is also amazing, I think I like it more than Resonant Blue and it’s already near the top of my favorite Morning Musume songs. This is a really strong single so far, all we need to know about are the covers and B-side, I hope this single will continue to stay good!

The single will be released on February 18th.

Below is the cover for Ishikawa Rika’s 9th photobook.

Very cute, although I can’t remember the last time a non-bikini photo has been used for the cover of an H!P photobook. Oh well~ She looks really nice here.

The photobook is being released on January 19th. (which is her 24th birthday~)

1st Best! Review

1st Best! – Ice CreaMusume’s Debut Album

01. Lian Ai Deng Chang

Rating – 9.5/10

This song is a pretty good opener. Very catchy and very cute. There is a nice solo in the middle of the song, I don’t know who sings it, but she sounds very good. Nice choice for the leading song of the album too.

02. Morning Coffee (Chinese Version)

Rating – 10/10

How fitting, singing Morning Musume’s debut song. I have never been a big fan of this song, but their version made me see it in a different light. I LOVE this. Even more than the Japanese version later on in this album and the Morning Musume version. It’s amazing. Whoever sings that “I love you I love you forever” sounds so cute! I wish I could tell them apart from their voices.

03. Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou?

Rating – 10/10

The new instrumental is EPIC. I’m glad there are a lot of solos in this song, I’m pretty sure that every girl got at least one? I sure hope so. As weird as this sounds, their version blows the Morning Musume version out of the water. Beautiful sinigng and the new instrumental fits the song more. This is probably my favorite track off the album.

04. Renai Revolution 21

Rating – 8/10

I don’t know, I just feel like there is something missing from this song. The original Renai Revolution 21 is hard to beat, but I don’t think it’s that. The Chinese lyrics just don’t really fit in well. It just sounds weird. The song isn’t bad, just not one of my favorites from here.

05. Go Girl ~Koi no Victory~

Rating – 9/10

Their version is pretty cute. Not sure if it is as good as the Morning Musume version, but not bad at all. It sounds really cute with the Chinese lyrics, they fit in pretty well.

06. Debut! ~Koi Suru Kado ni wa Fuku Kitaru~

Rating – 9.5/10

This is the Japanese version of the title track. I think that I actually think I like the Chinese version better. The lyrics seem to fit in more. I don’t think that any of them even speak Japanese fluently, so maybe it’s that or something. Oh well, both songs are good and it is a good choice for their first “single”.

07. Morning Coffee

Rating – 9.5/10

This is pretty good, although I still think they sing it better in their language. The singing is really good in this song. Also, I think that the new instrumental sounds

Overall Rating – 9.5/10

At first, I wasn’t too excited for this group, but this album just amazed me. This is a really good group and I’m looking forward to future releases. If they continue to cover old Morning Musume singles, I want to hear them cover either Furusato, Love Machine, I Wish, The Peace!, Do It! Now, or Roman ~My Dear Boy~ especially for some reason. Having new songs would be even better though.

I believe this is the first song Tsunku has composed for Buono!. On the forums I visited, a lot of people are unhappy with both the song and PV. I guess Tsunku shouldn’t compose their songs anymore lol. I like the song a lot, but it broke the very short “chain of awesome”. Gachinko de Ikou! was my favorite Buono! song back then, and I thought nothing could top it. Then along came Lotta Love Lotta Love, the best Buono song, ever. I guess that song will be very, very hard to beat. The song is catchy, but just not good enough. And the PV is kinda weird, with the walking green scenes and all. I liked the street though, and Miyabi looked gorgeous throughout the whole thing.

The single will be released on January 21st.

Shugo Shugo! Preview

A preview of Shugo Chara Eggs!’s new single was aired on the latest episode of the anime Shugo Chara!! Doki.

Shugo Shugo!

Very cute song, I love it at first listen. I’m glad it doesn’t sound that similar to their last single. And that one girl whose voice killed me last time sounds better, thankfully.

The single will be released on February 25th.

Below is the PV for Kusumi Koharu’s new single.

Hapi☆Hapi Sunday

Very cute! I love the PV. And this is my first time hearing the song, I really like it. Usually Kirarin songs take a while to catch on me, but this one is really good and I might like it as much as Papancake and Balalaika.

Also, here are some small images of the covers.

[limited / regular]

So cute~ I’m loving this release already.

The single is being released on February 4th.

New Morning Musume Artist Photos

The artist photos for Morning Musume on the Official Hello! Project Website have been updated showing the girls in their outfits for their new single.

Everyone looks great! I can’t say anything extremely negative, that’s a first lol. I love love love the outfits, you have no idea. Ai-chan looks really good, she has a cute scarf and a simple but nice outfit. Risa is one of my favorites here, I LOVE her outfit. The silver and purple go together really well surprisingly and also seem to make her hair look more noticeable. I have no idea what is on Eri’s head, nor do I think I want to know, but you work it gurl. Sayumi is also with Risa as one of my favorites, she has the simple but fashionable look going on. Reina looks…like Reina. As in, she still has that same hairstyle, but I guess she knows what works. Her outfit is a bit plain too but she doesn’t look bad at all. Koharu looks really good with that hairstyle, she looks more mature and her outfit is cute. Aika actually looks great for once, the hat and earrings are pretty cute. Jun Jun I think looks one of the best too, cute hat and I love her outfit. Lin Lin’s hat is a bit weird, but she pulls it off somehow.

Totally love the outfits. Although I eventually came to love Lotta Love Lotta Love‘s outfits, I’m glad Buono! is back to their rock-ish style. I think Momoko’s outfit is my favorite.
